Edan is an experienced lawyer, portfolio manager and business leader with deep expertise in international investing and wealth management, emerging markets, securities and banking regulation, as well as public and private law. Edan provides thoughtful counsel and portfolio management services to global institutions and private clients with sophisticated, cross-border needs.

Edan’s clients need quality advice and investment returns; personalized and proactive service; complete professional discretion and confidentiality; and a trustworthy partner who invests his own capital right alongside theirs.

Prior to joining VectorGlobal, Edan was the Head of Scotiabank’s International Advisory Group business. He helped grow assets under management to over $10 Billion during his tenure. Edan now heads one of the fastets growing divisions of VectorGlobal WMG. The Canadian operations have been a success despite having been launched a few months before the global pandemic.

Edan is a Canadian Registered Portfolio Manager and is a FINRA Series 7 license holder.

Luis Camhi
Director

Luis Camhi is a multifaceted professional who has seamlessly blended his architectural roots with the dynamic world of finance. With a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, and a multitude of self directed investment courses, Luis has embarked on a remarkable journey as a senior trader and investment expert within the Global Wealth Management Industry. Luis’s foundation in Architecture and Urban Design has instilled in him a solid foundation and meticulous approach to analysis and creative thinking. With over 17 the years of experience in trading, he has honed his skills as a Markets Analyst and Trader, focusing on long, medium, and short-term trading strategies across a diverse range of assets classes, including Indexes, Stocks, Options, Foreign Exchange, and Futures.

Luis’s dedication to his craft is evident in his work. His unique approach involves synthesizing top-down technical and fundamental market analyses to identify high probability trades and evaluate risk-reward ratios taking advantage of swing trade opportunities within the context of long-term value-oriented portfolios. Based in Toronto, Ontario, dedicated to analysing stocks, options, futures, and major currency pairs in the dynamic FOREX markets.


Saul Lopez
Director

Saul is an experienced investment advisor with over a decade of expertise in international investing and portfolio management. Saul has successfully guided high net worth clients in making informed investment decisions to achieve their financial goals. His comprehensive knowledge of financial markets, combined with diligent research and analysis, has enabled him to identify investment opportunities across different sectors and geographies tailored to the clients’ needs. Saul is a firm believer of building strong relationships built on trust, transparency, and open communication.

Prior to joining VectorGlobal, Saul worked for Scotia Wealth Management in Toronto, Canada at the international division with an investment team managing approximately $1 billion dollars. During his tenure at Scotiabank, Saul facilitated the approval and transition of approximately $2 billion dollars of international clients’ accounts.

Saul’s credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada. He is also a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) in Canada. Saul is fluent in English and Spanish.


Christian Rugel
Senior Director and Associate Portfolio Manager

Christian is a former fixed income trader with experience in Canadian and International bond markets. This specialized concentration made for an ideal fit in managing the fixed income needs of portfolios such as those of charitable foundations, pensions, municipalities and public institutions. Having managed over $2 Billion in volume trading per year on various Capital Market desks he has shown a track record of understanding and managing the world of global interest rates, debt and foreign exchange.

After studying Accounting at Sheridan College, Christian decided the world of capital markets was of more interest to him and joined the trading desk at RBC Capital Markets as an intern in 1994. He quickly picked up the nuances of trading and interest rate volatility and was promoted to higher profile markets in New York and London, finishing his trading career on the Emerging Markets Fixed Income trading desk in 2008. During this time, Christian helped manage the fixed income portfolios of various trusts and endowment foundations from the Caribbean and Asia. This type of real market experience is rarely found among advisors. Christian moved on from the trading desk to portfolio management in 2008.

Christian is an Associate Portfolio Manager and is fluent in both English and Spanish as well as limited working French.


Liqiao (Jerry) Xie

With academic education in mathematics & economics and professional training in finance and investment, Jerry supports the research and portfolio management teams at VectorGlobal so that the firm can provide tailor-made advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families and corporate clients who invest in North American financial markets. Jerry’s particular focus is on clients from Asia Pacific region. Jerry focuses on fundamental analysis and value investment methodology and has in-depth knowledge in energy, metals and other commodity-related sectors.

With his previous experience in a private equity firm, Jerry has built strong connections with the Asian business communities in Canada. He has a profound understanding of their investment needs and provides highly customized and proactive service to help the firm’s clients achieve their investment goals.
